“When I work, and in my art, I hold hands with God.” – Robert Mapplethorpe
Andrea is first and foremost a mother to 8 children. Her family was divinely designed through birth and adoption through the US foster care system. All 6 of her adopted children came from a background of abuse, neglect, abandonment and prenatal exposure to drugs and alcohol. They have overcome the dismal prognosis that they were given as children of a broken system to become vibrant, caring and productive young adults and children.
As the principle writer/blogger of www.thecavemanclan.com, Andrea chronicles the adventures, lifestyle and ideas of a large, unique single-parent family as they author the lives they desire through full-time travel, worldschooling, spiritual studies and healing, and service opportunities.
The co-founder of The Bohemian Habitat, Andrea manages and co-creates the ideas that will shape a future generation. The Bohemian Habitat is a project that coordinates the Arts, simplicity, service and self sufficiency as a creative means to assist displaced, orphaned or homeless children and youth as they are encouraged and inspired to become visionary and productive people, while removing the obstacles of homelessness and fear from their lives.
“Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art.” – Miguel Angel Ruiz
